AFFINITY PROGRAM

Mercury Network's Affinity Program provides discounts on Mercury products and services to members of participating organizations.

REQUIREMENTS
The program is designed for private employers with at least 150 full-time employees and organizations with at least 500 subscribing members. Participating organizations must make information about Mercury's products, services, and discounts available year-round, and make special promotional announcements about the discounts at least once every 12 months. There are no contracts or other special obligations to participate in the program.

DISCOUNTS PROVIDED
We reward Affinity Program participating members the following ways:
  • FREE Equipment Rental on High-Speed Accounts ($50.00 a Year Value)
    High-Speed Internet Regular Price: $279.50 a year. Affinity Member Price: $229.50 a year - that's only $19.12 a month for high-speed service! Surf the Internet 100X Faster with Mercury High-Speed Internet! Account includes "always on" Internet access, secure firewall protection, 10 mailboxes with virus and SPAM controls, 25MB web page space for each e-mail user, and toll-free service and support seven days a week.
  • $50.00 a Year Off Flat-Rate Dial-Up Accounts
    Regular Price: $179.50 a year. Affinity Member Price: $129.50 a year. Our Flat-Rate Dial-Up Account comes with Propel Accelerator, an added service that makes web pages and e-mail download 2 to 5 times faster than regular dial-up. Accounts comes with 10 mailboxes that include virus and SPAM protection, 25MB web page space for each e-mail user, and toll-free service and support seven days a week.

DISCOUNT REDEMPTION REQUIREMENTS
  • Members must pay electronically in order to receive the discount. Declined, refused, or dishonored payments are cause for limiting eligibility of discounts.
  • Where possible, discount eligibility is determined using payment information. If, for example, all members have access to credit union accounts as a member benefit, we can link paying from that account to being eligible for the discount.
  • When discount eligibility cannot be determined using payment information, a membership or employment ID badge matching the account holder can be used to determine eligibility. Only one account per ID badge is permitted.
  • When discount eligibility cannot be determined using payment information or an ID badge, an eligibility form can be used. This form is typically completed by a Human Resources or Member Benefits representative and faxed directly to us.

PROMOTIONAL REQUIREMENTS
At least once every 12 months, your organization needs to promote this benefit to its members. Following are promotion ideas that may work for your organization:
  • Newsletter Article. Use your newsletter to get the word out.
  • In-Building Displays and Signs. Place posters, tent cards, and signs in your lobbies and/or employee areas.
  • Outside Signs. Use lettered and marquee signs to announce this benefit.
  • Statement Message or Insertion. Make use of a "news" or "notice" section or insert a flyer into a mailed statement.
  • On-Hold Message. Tell callers about this discount while they wait on hold.
  • Direct Mail*. Print and mail postcards to your members.
  • Newspaper Advertising*. Run ads in the paper announcing this benefit partnership.
* Cooperative advertising dollars may be available. Ask your Account Manager for more information. Advertising support is not assured or guaranteed and should not influence your decision to participate in the program.

SUPPORT
We support our Affinity Program participating organizations in the following ways:
  • We assign you a dedicated Account Manager who assists you with the program, understanding Mercury's products and services, and explaining its benefits to your members.
  • We design and provide custom flyers for you to distribute to members.
  • We provide product information, including product overviews, features, service areas, and answers to frequently asked questions.
  • We may perform joint advertising, if both parties agree.
